Scout sources its data from the most trusted available resources. However, there can be instances where the information doesn't align perfectly. For example, an address might have multiple residents sharing the same email account, or an email might reference various family members.

We strive to filter out any emails that do not match the names, but there are cases when we might not exclude an email if the last name matches.

If a contact name doesn't align with the email, it may be because another individual lives at the same address. Although we make every effort to verify this information accurately, there can be instances of overlapping occupants at a single address. If needed, and you can identify the more correct name from the email, you can always edit the Contact in Scout by clicking on the Contact, editing the field and clicking Save.
