While the campaign is running, it is designed to automatically follow up with only those contacts who have not replied to a campaign. So, when someone replies, they are automatically removed from the journey. If someone replies via phone or text, you will need to manually remove someone from receiving a follow-up message.

There are 2 ways to unsubscribe someone, 1) using the 1-click unsubscribe link in the email, and 2) by logging into Scout and manually marking that Contact “Do not email”

Using the 1-Click Unsubscribe: The quickest way to stop a recipient from receiving future emails would be to unsubscribe them from the campaign using the unsubscribe link in the disclaimer of the recipient’s email that says “click here”. You can always find a copy of the email in your “sent” folder.

Marking the Contact “Do not email” in the Contacts section. Go to the Contacts section, scroll over to the Do not email column and click the corresponding box.
