If you encounter a bad lead, just mark it as an “Invalid Lead” in the Contacts section.

Why is data invalid?

Occasionally, the data we receive from our vendors may be outdated or invalid. While we strive to ensure the information is from the most reliable sources, we can't guarantee its accuracy all the time. If you come across a bad lead, please inform us. We will do our best to either replace it or provide additional credits (see below).

Please keep in mind that while we do everything we can to validate emails, sometimes emails change or have restrictions placed on them by the email provider. Given the nature of the data, we can always expect a few bounce-back emails. But, if the number of bounce-backs looks out of the ordinary (greater than 3/day), just let us know and we’ll look into it!

What should I know about my domain reputation score if there are a lot of bouncebacks?

Typically, you will need to send more than 100 emails per day to get noticed and build the sender reputation. For this reason, Scout makes sure to keep your number of sends well under 100/day.

If you are over this threshold, you may need to consult a warm-up tool to improve your score.
